my sarcasm spilleth over

eyebrowofdoom tells me that it is polite to inform one's Friends at large that one will not read their LJs for a given period of time unless one's Friends post a given message.

Dear Friends (the residue wot is left after my invidious spoilering campaign),

please be informed that I will not read your LJs for at least 5 (five) days (i.e. 120 hours exactly starting from moment of posting this post) unless you post a message assuring me and my other international others that you will not post any spoilers about the following items of immediate importance to me:

1) the News
2) the Weather (anywhere in the world but especially in my part of it)
3) Kal Ho Naa Ho, the Bollywood film that came 8th at the Box Office in the UK last week and whose arrival at my cinema on 11th January excites me far more than RotK -- so I guess I'll need to extend that spoiler warning -- otoh, I guess I won't need to because none of my Friends Of is likely to watch it (except those on bollywood and they can't read this post and how much longer do I want to ramble in mindless ecstasy at the prospect of wallowing in Shahrukh Khan?)
