end of summer and end of olympics and end of bank holiday blues

Sometimes I just feel like lurking, not posting. Does that ever happen to you? I answer my LJ-comment emails and read around but I don't feel like posting.

Except now I did. Because I'm a pathetic addict.

Also, I haven't answered all of the LJ-comments that have accumulated over the Bank Holiday but I've read them. In email form. Because the current mode of being zapped to the full LJ-page slows me down and also annoys me so sometimes it's just more soothing simply to read the emails without clicking on the 'reply to this comment' link.

In other news, I went to my first live football / soccer match ever on Saturday: Cambridge United vs Swansey City! Yes, it was scintillating stuff. Cambridge lost, of course. Both sides played dismally. Alas, the World Cup it ain't. But it was fabulous fun, nevertheless. I'm going again! And next time I plan to go see Chelsea!!! I might even see someone score a goal!
