  1. bollywood:
I never tire of it! Today I had a cold coming on so I skived off from work early and went home to dowse myself in lemsip and wrap my body in scarves and fleeces and I plonked myself down in front of Koi.. mil gaya, a Bollywood take on E.T. meets Big! Omg, Hrithik Roshan as an eight-year-old kid and a blue Krishna baby as the alien!!! Can you beat it? Also, Hrithik, I discovered, has a deformed thumb so how impressive is that? I don't think you could become a mega-superstar in Hollywood with a deformed thumb; you'd have to have an operation.
  2. diegesis:
Well, what can I say? I love it. It means narrative. And I must make a note to use it more often. And narrators can be intra-diegetic or extra-diegetic, and in film, sound can be non-diegetic or diegetic but don't try it if you want to lose weight. *has jargongasm*
  3. fanfiction:
Again, *sigh* and *laugh*, what to say? It's the reason I'm here!! Hm, although recently I've a) written none nor b) read none. But still! It's the reason I'm here! Without fanfiction, I'd never have heard of LJ.
  4. harry potter:
This is a bizarre interest that hit me from somewhere behind my left ear. *tries to bat it off like buzzing flies in the Australian bush but, just like the blowflies, it is obstinately persistent and short of cutting off my dag, it just Won't Go Away!*
  5. kajol:

The most beautiful woman in the world. If you want to know what my taste in women is and whom I'd forsake my slashy hetness for, go and see Kuch kuch hota hai. (And see above, Interest number 1.)
  6. liebesdachs:
Oh, Demelza, Demelza, wherefore art thou?
  7. ned kelly:
My icon. Ripped from the tides of passing pixels when on a brief sojourn in the evanescent fandom of Kelly. The fandom came and went but Sidney Nolan's Kelly stayed. I just adore that picture and desperately want to get my hands of a poster of it! I wonder if any of the Australian galleries stock them.
  8. rare pairings:
These are sewn into my genetic make-up. I realised this when I stumbled upon Stargate fandom. The one pairing I immediately glomped onto in a canon-ignorant OTP lustfest was McKay/Zelenka, and what did I find out? No fics to read as extremely rare! The one pairing that made sense to me in Superman-canon was Clark Kent and his dad whatsisname. Did I even find one single fic with that pairing in? Nope! Demelza (see Interest number 6) had to write me one (if I remember rightly). It's not willful perversity; the rareness lust just happens to me! Two last words on this topic: Dudley/Draco.... (see Interest number 4 above -- *continues batting away at the flies*)
  9. slash:
Ah!! Well. Again, what words can I find? It's like those Smirnoff ads of the late 70s: I always thought Wanking was the capital of China until I discovered slash. Or something along those lines. I remember sputtering with excitement and yelling to t'h: 'I've discovered my niche on the web!!' This one will never die.
  10. vincent crabbe:
    See Interest number 8 above.
