I have been
metafandomed!! My modest musings about the morality of LJ has apparently and bizarrely found a wider echo and all sorts of people have been responding!
And among these people is an actual, real-life employee of LJ (*gasps*). Yes, yes, one of those mythological creatures has descended from Mount Olympus into my very own LiveJournal. It is a personage called
rahaeli, and she told me about ethical consumerism and why she is committed to the company she works for which is called LJ/A6 (who knew that I've been inhabiting the spaces of a company called LJ/A6??!!!). I was immediately and at once convinced and as soon as I get a moment spare I shall forthwith revert to paid account and ponder my erstwhile moral qualms with indulgent fondness.
I am, as they say in this country, dead chuffed. And, as they say in other countries, totally in awe of the materialisation of one of the keepers of our interactivities!
If I were still in lotrips, I'd go liek omg @-@ 111111. But as I'm not, I won't.
And those who tigged and haven't been togged: I will get to you, I promise! Real life is keeping me so darn busy!! (And it's t'son's twelfth birthday tomorrow: my god, I've been a mother for a dozen years!)
