Can't stop long! It's bonfire night and we must leave in 50 minutes to secure a good spot on top of this hill that we always go to.

Am wearing my winter boots. The cold has crept up on us, finally.

I look outside the window and boom, boom, go the fireworks already.

viva_gloria alerted me to this radio programme on BBC 3 on fanfic and it is playing as I type. I'm in minor shock. They are mentioning words like:

- canon
- fanon
- fanfic
- slash
- profic
- feedback

I'm not used to hearing such words! I'm used to seeing them in type on-screen! Ack.

And 2 minutes ago, they explained what 'lotrips' is.

*screams disconcertedly*

Also, they are pronouncing fanon 'fa-nonne'. Now, that is not how I pronounce it. Ack, weird.

I am still in shock.

They said lotrips on national public radio. On the BBC.

I repeat: they mentioned lotrips. The guy, Roz Kavanagh, said it was about the actors having sex in their trailers. He seemed agape. But he said 'lotrips'!
