weather sun

For the first time in what feels like weeks, we have sun! There is sunshine on the tops of the trees and falling in stripes across the grass. It is late afternoon and the shadows are long -- but there are shadows!

My spirits are lifted by this sunshine.

The sky is pale and high, with wisps of cloud and other streaks of white even higher up. Birds make twittering and tweeting noises, some near, some far.

I am actually warm in my singlet, polo-neck and bouclé cardigan.
