weather balmy

The air today is balmy and blustery. It is air that moves. During my yoga class, air moved through the open window across my skin, an extremely pleasant sensation which reminded me of spring and summer and how weather can actually be wonderful. I heard the sound of a far-off ambulance, an electronic dog's bark.

It is warm in comparison with what we've had. I had to take off my jumper. I've got sweat patches under my arms. Sometimes the sun is out, but at the moment bright grey clouds drift fast from left to right.

In the garden to my left, there is a tree that has erupted overnight in a thousand off-white flowers. Now they all move in the breeze.

Three gardens down, someone is using an electric drill.

navvies

Draco. I bet he's into navvies. I bet he surreptitously looks builders up and down, clambering up and down their scaffolding, taking their shirts off in summer and baring their big burly chests.

He likes 'em big and burly because why else hang out with Crabbe and Goyle?

I bet he gets off on builders' cracks, builders' lime-streaked arms, builders' broad hands and dust-encrusted fingers.

trustflow

Inspired by brightest_blue, I tried that Trustflow meme, about the people not on my Friends List but who are 'closest' to me.

However, for me it was a bit useless as there is actually a reason why these people are not on my Friends List... And it's not because they are so closest.

Now, how do I find new Friends? The best tried and tested method, I find, is still the old Friends of Friends of clicking frenzy.

weather shower

Without much warning, it rained. The drops were as big as my palm on the windscreen. Nobody had an umbrella and people tromped past with stringy wet hair.

It wasn't cold, though. Now the pavement shines silver.
