May. 17th, 2006 08:50 pmI would never have believed that one day I'd be watching club football. I do not watch club football. I keep myself pristine and pure for European and World Cup only! But t'son's passion for football, ever since acquisition of the Brazil kit, has risen to such a height of frenzy that we had to watch the first half of Arse vs Barce (Arsenal vs Barcelona -- not my abbreviations!). It was very exciting!! Drama! Action! Red card! Goalie sent off! Goal! Thighs!
Also, this means that I did not fix up my Cadman fic. So I didn't post yesterday, on lucky Tuesday, because t'h and I got spur-of-the-mo babysitting and went out to celebrate t'Readership! And I'm not posting tonight, on lucky Wednesday, because I want to watch Line of Beauty on BBC 2; I liked the Hollinghurst book (although not as much as Folding Star) and I am looking forward to some man-on-man hot TV action. And also, the final clincher, my third beta reappeared from woodworks and said she's still on it and couldn't I wait? So, heh, I will post tomorrow and, um, call it lucky Thursday??
Or wait until next week's lucky Tuesday. *resigns self* I still need to do quite a bit of tickety-typing to the thing. There are about a zillion scribbled pencil notes in the margins.
And today I had Draco/Dudley ideas! No, Dudley ideas! I sketched in some Dudley backstory and I sat on the bike, getting rained on, and set my jaw in a Dudleyish manner and swore rudely at people in my head and biffed them on the nose and then he had his dick sucked in a Soho loo and was all, what the...?
