Just watching SGA 4.02 'Lifeline'. Have I mentioned recently (or ever) how much I love John Sheppard right now?

Hah. It's a funny thing, fandom. I joined SGA because of the fic. I knew nought of canon just devoured fic. And one of the first fics I read was Julad's gorgeous Radek/Rodney so for me McKay/Zelenka was like the ur-pairing, the archetype of SGA. And when I finally discovered canon, I was all 'huh? Sheppard? So totally not ringing any bells for me and so totally not got any chemistry with Rodney.' I remember making a post about this and getting stomped on!! :-)

And now? I am a-drool over John Sheppard.

This is because I've written him. Because I've lived and breathed and fucked John Sheppard.

And because he has a thing with wraith. That's what turns me on about John. The Rodney thing is a fringe benefit, and adjunct. For me, it's the wraith thing.

And the fragility of John. I lurv the fragility of John.

Oh, and have I mentioned his eyes?

I've missed this while sedated! Writing is so fucking libidinal!
