weather rain

I haven't done a weather post in ages! *dusts off long-not-used icon*

My window is speckled with raindrops. Their bottom halves, crescent-shaped, are silver bright; their tops are see-through. They sit there in fat blobs. Some slide down at unpredictable intervals. Towards the sides of the window, the drops are small and tiny, in cumulative patterns.

I hear the sound of splattering and whooshing. Rain on roof, rain gurgling in gutters, rain on foliage, and just general ambient rain sounds.

The sky is solid white and blinding bright. The roofs behind the garden glisten with white. Behind the silver blobs on my window, I see streaks of rain, fast-moving.

There goes another drop, sliding down the pane.
