I saw Ghajini (spoiler cut) )mainly because of the brilliant comic talents of the beautiful Asin Thottumkal.

Asin:

She is a Tamil actress and also starred in the earlier Tamil version of this film. She is cute, gorgeous, sassy, funny and sexy, and she can hold her own against a superstar like Aamir Khan -- no mean feat! She lights up the screen! This is precisely what Anushka Sharma lacks in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. pic of Anushka Sharma ) Anushka Sharma is sweet enough and had her moments but, on the whole, she didn't move me and she didn't manage to move Shahrukh. She seemed too much in awe of the Big Star and, especially near the end of the movie, held back too much.

Asin totally did not hold back! She was bubbly in the funny bits and often outshone Aamir (and that is also due to Aamir, I have to say, who is a wonderfully understated actor; not a shred of the ham in him); and in the tragic bits, she was brilliant and serious. She reminds me of Kajol in her funniness and her range and the way she can outshine her co-star, or at least co-shine.
