I confronted t'h's new girlfriend

Peeplets, I did a crazy.

Today, in a rush of warmth, I bought t'h a present: mother-of-pearl vintage cufflinks, very expensive. We met up in a pub. I had a double gin. I have him the cuff links. The conversation went pear-shaped.

All of a sudden, I was marching off, in a tipsy state, into the street where I knew the Other Woman lives. T'h came after me and said, don't do it. He rang her to warn her.

I have no idea what house she lives in. But I see a woman sweeping her front path and it's her. This seems to me like an invitation from above. I double-backed, held out my hand and said, "Hi, I'm RealName, I believe we have a common acquaintance."

She then invited me in for a tea or a walk. I chose the walk.
She had not got t'h's phone call.

We ended up in the river path where t'h appeared. Then we walked, the three of us (!!), to Tesco's supermarket and I bought 3 bottles of still water.

I said some bitchy things, at several points started running like crazy an then threw myself down in the grass and at one point onto the road. Finally, I hugged her fiercely then ran off.

One good thing: I was wearing my hot new re frock, bought for t'son's graduation.

I'm still trying to process what just happened. My life is an AU.
