Another of my LJ friends is having dreadful troubles over her slash writing, but at least she can still LJ and tell us she's alive. Not knowing anything is much worse.
This doesn't seem to me to be the kind of post of someone who's just having problems writing fics (anyway, she was writing loads and having plot bunnies! She emailed me only yesterday about an upcoming Lij/Craig that I had beta'ed and she was going to post!). Also not the kind of post you send if you're worried about plagiarism, or if you are pissed off at something someone said online (anyway, Quiseyes doesn't seem the type to get into a state about that kind of thing).
I have scrolled through her last posts and there is *no* indication of anything. This makes me suspect it's some sudden awful thing in real life. I keep tormenting my brains, thinking up the kind of scenarios that would make me send such a post. Which leaves us with no clue as to what would make her send it.
Nobody, I think, knows her irl, away there in Tasmania! It's not like us UK sibs and the lot over in the USA.
No - my other friend's trouble is real life based (and quite awful) but linked to her writing. I hope she's OK - haven't heard anything since yesterday. But the important thing is, she is able to tell us what's happening to her so we can help if we can - even if it's just moral support.
I don't think there was anyone that knows Quiseyes either. I just hope she has a last look at her LJ and knows there are people who care :( It's one of my biggest worries with on-line communities - people disappearing and never knowing what's happened to them.
