1) A book arrived in the post today. It has a chapter by me in it! My name in print, *sigh*.
Drawback: No fb.
2) I've got a grant. I don't need to go to work for a whole year, starting in September. I get to do research instead!!!
Drawback: It's not research into Pretty Boys or Manly Men. Drat.
3) I've got the most gorgeous sons on Earth and they're going to grow up to look ten times handsomer than any LotR actor. I know, all mothers say that. I love being average.
Drawback: None.
