techie question: help

lobelia321O wise flist! What do I do?
My iBook G4 1.42GHZ rejects all DVD and my Sims CD-ROM that I put in the DVD-(optical) drive! I push a disc in. The mechanism makes clicking noises. No icon appears on the screen. Then the disk gets ejected from the drive.
Help!
