I did it at a write-in today where I turned out an extraordinary 5639 words in five hours! And another wrimo crossed the finish line 4 minutes after me. Oh, what fun!!

Thank you! Your question is a good one. I spent most of this month in one house within 2 hours in the first chapter of this novel. Then, on the last day, I wrote furiously, thinking I've got to get out of chapter 1, and the plot ran away in some insane direction with me holding on to its hem.

In other words, no. Story not yet finished. ;-)

My ambition is limitless, it seems. Nothing spurs me on so much as the thought that others may see me fail. No, that can't be right because the first time I did nano I did it on my own with no other wrimos at all.
