lobelia321I am still in birthday afterglow! The rl celebrations interwoven with surreptitious fic-downloading and gleeful anticipation were wonderful! And all the lovely, lovely slashy presents I got! Everyone has been so generous and so thoughtful, I am quite overwhelmed. Thank you so much! And there's promise of more to come... I am Fandom's Most Fortunate Forty-Year-Old.

azewewish, Acceptable Substitute
She's done it again and reduced me to a glowing hum. This is elegiac, sweet, wistful, full of gorgeous dialogue and resonant way beyond the ending. Dom/Harry (but also others...)

A lovely little drabble. Toothpastey, funny, and evocative. Dominic/Orlando.
cinzia, De Amore
Breathtakingly tender and intellectually mindblowing. Does radical things to slash and sexual stereotypes in guise of simple prose and a beautiful simple story. Five Karl-drabbles.
demelzagirl, The Amusing and Whimsical Adventures of Geoffrey of the Fourth Form
A mad giddy romp through too many cross-over fandoms to enumerate. It whisked me away into fantastical realms of football, schoolgirls and Mary-Sues and had me choking on my own laughter. Rating: ELF. Pairing: Everyone.
demelzagirl, After the Conversation; or Two Words after Hundreds
Well. What can I say? She has written Karl/Dominic! And it's like a long, luscious string of dialogue-txts. I mean, the Header is, because this is a 2-word fic with an 897-word Header - absolutely stunning (both fic and Header!). A sweet, cute, gorgeous, real back-and-forth and an entirely bullshit-free zone. Rating: ELF.
eyebrowofdoom, A Weight of Pliant Wood
My god, she did it! Legolas/ent! Plus it rings true; it's based on a virtually canonical premise. Unbelievably, this is also fantastically sexy. An absolutely extraordinary and beautifully-written story. I would have squealed with glee if I hadn't needed to fan myself, instead.
gabbyhope, Rude Awakening
Geoffrey/Mr Wainthropp! Realism, wonderful detail, prickly sweet deliciousness -- who would have thought it of this pair? Delicious plot premise! And she has done it; she's written yet another gorgeous wank-fic. This one had me squeeing all the way.
lazulus, It's the Dress That Did It
Richard Taylor/Dominic! Yes, it's a Duck!fic! That alone is enough to make me squeal but there's more: he wears a frock! Very nice Dom POV, lovely by-play with Elijah, and a wonderful, sensible but also slightly naughty Richard.

Sweet and naughty little drabble by increasingly uncloseted Wainthropp-fan! Hilarious, too. Dominic/Derek!

Crazy Tom Hardy/Jed Brophy pairing but done in such a lovely way that you forget how crazy it is. Oh, I love all who try and re-assess all things orcish.

A wet dream of a fic! This is sexy as all get-out: pages and pages of pure, dripping porn. It's a story told through sex, not around sex or beyond sex or despite sex. And the prose: gutsy and dreamlike at the same time; beautiful, precise and every word a surprise. Made me shivery hot all over. It has sparked controversy here . Dominic/Orlando.

Lovely and very, very sexy! Set on a gusty beach, in a car, with a wonderful science-y theme running through it. Great gusto beginning, beautiful ending and gorgeous atmosphere. Ach, made me sigh with pleasure. Karl/Orlando.

Lyrical, lovely, understated and bitternice. Gorgeous, terse prose. A resonant fic that leaves the story-making to the reader. Dominic/Karl.
