You know. I came here to give you feedback on a story andraste_oz rec'ed weeks ago and was written long before that. Uhm. 'Handjob' looked like the right entry to give that feedback, but I got sidetracked by the link. I don't even have 'research' as an excuse, because I don't write. I read a lot, does that count?

Now, where was I...

'A helping hand/We can do more', your Billy/Dom story. That's one of the sweetest & hottest B/D story I've read. They're both so real and lovable in this. It's so recognizable, the way they're trying to 'read' eachothers actions and reactions. Being shy and nervous, but wanting too much to totally give in on being shy. And admitting to being shy and nervous! I loved that!

And they managed to get a condom! Two of them. Yay! I could hug you for that. Yeah, well, I always empathize too much for my own good I guess *blushing*.

Can I rec this in my LJ?

Rec away, my dear, and thank you for the lovely fb. That fic, of course, has long and winding sequels... but if you adore the B/D love, you may be better off staying away from them, heh. Oh, and a companion fic: "The Other Trailer" (what happened in Viggo's trailer?).

Yeah, I adore the Billy/Dom love! But I'm not so much into the OTP thing. As long as the writing is good and it's got Dom, Billy or Elijah in it I'll read it. I like me some Viggo and Karl too. Not very much into Orlando, but I make exceptions. I love RPS and FPS (also no OTP) and started on some AU I like. I've mostly got some favorite writers and rely a lot on recs by people whose tastes I can relate to.

So I read on, 'When the cat's away' and 'Roller Coaster'. Wow! Loved them too! I'm sure I'll look around your site some more. You've written quite a lot I see.

I've seen you around in other people's journals too, so maybe that's where you've seen my name before :D.

About the entry: I was kind of hoping 'research for reading' would work as a cover for 'research for RL' but you seem to have caught me. I'm so obvious *rolls eyes*.

So, it's like this: I've been rec'ing you all over the place for the last couple of days, just finished reading 'the other trailer' (and guess what? I loved it! If you like I will tell you why, but I'm never sure if those increasingly long feedbacks I've been writing left and right lately are really all that interesting. Maybe 'I loved it' will do, I don't know) and will start on another fic by you after I've posted this comment.

I've bookmarked your site and friended you because I figured that was more convenient than doing a LiveJournal search for Lobelia321 every time I felt the need for one of your fics.

And what author can resist long, detailed fb? I *adore* it. I could never ever be bored, and if it were 12 pages long, I'd still be riveted. *g*

And I'd be intrigued to know what you liked about "other trailer" because thereby hangs a tale... (But doesn't by any fic..?)
