P.S. And then there are, of course, women in suits.

Now they make me swoon possibly even more. But that's fodder for another day.

(Think Hermine in *Steppenwolf*. Think 1980s Kreuzberg bar where I sat transfixed by three women in suits, with *very* short hair, who drank beer straight out of the bottle.)

I really must finish making that Louise Brooks icon that has been sitting on my hard drive for the last couple of months...

Oh yes, women in suits. *swoon*

Louise Brooks!!!!!!!

*faints*

But note: it's not suit as in power suit (what in Germany they call Kostuem) and it's not suit as in girly cutey suit (as posted by [livejournal.com profile] phineasjones below): it's got to be 1920s androgynous suit. *Not* suit with cleavage!

Darling girl, I am completely aware as to which type of suit is the only type of suit.

This is what I mean by a woman in a suit:

Lousie Brooks. Goddess. I went to see a double bill of Pandora's Box and Beggars of Life about 20 years ago, and have been in awe ever since.

It's very sweet of you to post this but I realise that my taste in women-in-suits is very picky and this is not it, alas. Definitely *not* suits with cleavage and high heels. It's got to be androgynous, it's got to be a man's suit, it's got to be *severe* and the hair has to be short.

*melts* Kill me with the images, why don't you!

On a side note, you state on your niche that you'll start posting the Karl/Dom epic at the end of May/beginning of June. Say that you start posting next week! *puppy-dog pleading eyes*

Vasiliki!! Nice to hear from you! I was thinking of you only last night as I had a look at your CD-ROM!

And Karl/Dom, well, Part One is with the beta. So, *fingers crossed.*

;-p

Thanks for asking.

To make it easier for me to keep up with your updates, I've just added you to my friends' list, if you don't mind. I need to read Egemia inomata enriched epic soon! :P

Btw, do you happen to know if Grove Green is in Cambridge? I'm visiting a friend next weekend and we're going mad trying to figure out why my train ticket says 'Cambridge Bus Station' on the top, but then gives 'Grove Green' as my arrival point. Nobody knows this place and the train station clerks cannot help me, because this route doesn't show up on their computers! (I bought the ticket online) Help?

PS. Your icon has turned me into a goo-pool.

I have never heard of Grove Green. Which Cambridge is this, Cambridgeshire or Massachusetts? The Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, Bus Station is called Drummer Street.

And goo-pool, heh. I presume this is Orli-Troy you are talking about here? I have been reconverted. *g*

Umm, do we have a Cambridge, Massachusetts, in UK? I only know of the Cambridgeshire one, 1 hour and 20 min from Milton Keynes (now, if you ask me which Milton Keynes: the one where Sean Bean performed as Macbeth).

Why has nobody heard of Grove Green? *wails*

Brainiac or not, nobody can deny that the boy is fine to look at! :P~~~~ (me, drooling)
