Orli in Troy with curls
May. 29th, 2003 10:57 amI bought the magazine on my way home. Laz and Jenn are such corrupters!!

Cleaned-up versions at Orlando Multimedia; scroll down.
Still a tad skinny for my taste but my god, those curls...
Also, am sucker for blue sunny sea pics.
As a result of the corrupting influence of Walthamstow, I forward wound through the entire Orli-Midsomer Murders episode until I glimpsed a second of the man at the end only to realise that, duh, of course it had already been rewound to the pertinent (or should that be prettynet?) bits. I had *missed* the beginning! Innocent of the plot, I settled down to rewind the two bed scenes of the first 15 minutes for about as many times, freezeframing the half-smile in the first bed scene and savouring the interchange in the second one. But where's the Fellowship tattoo???
Am in somewhat breathlessly confused state now.
And yes,
badgermonkey, I know I'm a sad case but what's a bit of boring nattering when faced with this kind of crampand onslaught?? Anyway, in 'Midsomer Murders' he's got a script so he's not quite as vacuous. Am warming to his mellow voice...

Date: 2003-05-29 05:28 am (UTC)I have managed to collect most of the good parts [read: bed/half nekkiedness] of that MM ep. I still have not seen his death. Damn.

Date: 2003-05-29 12:40 pm (UTC)And I did notice one Lotr reference which is not very hidden but huge and fat. One of the farmhouses is called Lothlorien but: *they have misspelled it*: Lothlorian. Ack!!!!!!!!!

I was thinking, it had that pre-Lotr feeling about it. Indeed, I was *willing* it to be pre-Lotr because that fits in so perfectly with the Wainthropp universe (you can see, that
Ack! His first sex scenes! His first on-screen kiss! *dies*
It's also highly Wainthroppian in that the bulk of the episode can only be survived by copious use of the FFD button. And by presence of befrocked ladies with perms.
Omg. Omg. liek, wow, @_@, eeek
P.S. Adopt a highway? Cool icon!

And, my gawd, did we laugh!! You were however, perfectly right that I really should have waited until you'd put that cup of tea down...
As a result of the corrupting influence of Walthamstow
Tell eldest offspring that I am researching house prices for him.

Well, of course it was! *rolls eyes*
Am in somewhat breathlessly confused state now.
Nothing changed there, then. *cough*

Ha! He does have a lovely voice. All smooth and seductive. How could anyone reists those curls? (and no, I am not even thinking of asking this of Demelza, who is a lost cause)
Was fab to see you! And T'offspring are lovely. Am very impressed at how good youngster was with the cats. Did you know he said to goodbye to Small and miaowed at her? Jenn was beside herself.

See, if you say it yourself, you take all the fun out of commenting. Not quite so vacuous? Surely this is damning with faint praise; being able to read lines from a script hardly demonstrates Nobel Prize-winning levels of genius. I see stupid children read every day, *and* they manage to shut their mouths when they've finished.
