[livejournal.com profile] lazulus flashed this at me yesterday. I had a splutter attack.
I bought the magazine on my way home. Laz and Jenn are such corrupters!!

Cleaned-up versions at Orlando Multimedia; scroll down.

Still a tad skinny for my taste but my god, those curls...

Also, am sucker for blue sunny sea pics.

As a result of the corrupting influence of Walthamstow, I forward wound through the entire Orli-Midsomer Murders episode until I glimpsed a second of the man at the end only to realise that, duh, of course it had already been rewound to the pertinent (or should that be prettynet?) bits. I had *missed* the beginning! Innocent of the plot, I settled down to rewind the two bed scenes of the first 15 minutes for about as many times, freezeframing the half-smile in the first bed scene and savouring the interchange in the second one. But where's the Fellowship tattoo???

Am in somewhat breathlessly confused state now.

And yes, [livejournal.com profile] badgermonkey, I know I'm a sad case but what's a bit of boring nattering when faced with this kind of crampand onslaught?? Anyway, in 'Midsomer Murders' he's got a script so he's not quite as vacuous. Am warming to his mellow voice...

No fellowship tattoo because this was pre-lotr. I believe they called him back and he'd just found about about getting Legolas. So he was all "I got the LotR Part!" and they were all "Cool. Wanna do Midsomers Murders before you go?"

I have managed to collect most of the good parts [read: bed/half nekkiedness] of that MM ep. I still have not seen his death. Damn.

i have never had the good fortune to see this, but apparently the scriptwriters put in a few LOTR references for a laugh.

lobelia, did you see notice any LOTR references? this of course means you have to watch the whole thing and not just gawk at Orli's ass :-P

Orli's arse, I wish!! You don't see his arse actually. There's a *sheet* in the way!

And I did notice one Lotr reference which is not very hidden but huge and fat. One of the farmhouses is called Lothlorien but: *they have misspelled it*: Lothlorian. Ack!!!!!!!!!

*Pre-LOTR*?????

Oh. Oh. *whimpers helplessly*

I was thinking, it had that pre-Lotr feeling about it. Indeed, I was *willing* it to be pre-Lotr because that fits in so perfectly with the Wainthropp universe (you can see, that [livejournal.com profile] thejennabides's bunny has quite turned my head) and now you tell me it is so, and I am going "squeak, squeak" (somewhat like a muskrat).

Ack! His first sex scenes! His first on-screen kiss! *dies*

It's also highly Wainthroppian in that the bulk of the episode can only be survived by copious use of the FFD button. And by presence of befrocked ladies with perms.

Omg. Omg. liek, wow, @_@, eeek

P.S. Adopt a highway? Cool icon!

And, my gawd, did we laugh!! You were however, perfectly right that I really should have waited until you'd put that cup of tea down...

As a result of the corrupting influence of Walthamstow

Tell eldest offspring that I am researching house prices for him.

of course it had already been rewound to the pertinent (or should that be prettynet?) bits

Well, of course it was! *rolls eyes*

Am in somewhat breathlessly confused state now.

Nothing changed there, then. *cough*

I know I'm a sad case but what's a bit of boring nattering when faced with this kind of crampand onslaught?? Anyway, in 'Midsomer Murders' he's got a script so he's not quite as vacuous. Am warming to his mellow voice...

Ha! He does have a lovely voice. All smooth and seductive. How could anyone reists those curls? (and no, I am not even thinking of asking this of Demelza, who is a lost cause)

Was fab to see you! And T'offspring are lovely. Am very impressed at how good youngster was with the cats. Did you know he said to goodbye to Small and miaowed at her? Jenn was beside herself.

In the train, he kept saying how lovely it had been at that house and how we must go back there to visit that "nice lady". And lots about the cats, of course. His father was regaled with about 10 minutes of cat talk on the phone this morning. T'hubster, btw, managed to lose his mobile phone so didn't text me to inform me of safe arrival. As a result, I stayed up till 1.30, glued to the BBC news site to check for reports of plane crashes (hence need for crampand diversionary tactics).

Am still dreaming of that mushroom risotto.... :-)

I can't see those pictures. Oh, the grief.

I know I'm a sad case

See, if you say it yourself, you take all the fun out of commenting. Not quite so vacuous? Surely this is damning with faint praise; being able to read lines from a script hardly demonstrates Nobel Prize-winning levels of genius. I see stupid children read every day, *and* they manage to shut their mouths when they've finished.

Really, Demelza, *coughs*, since when did we expect *Nobel Prize* level of anything in the fandom? Get a grip, woman. Ogle the fuckin' curls! One look at the curls and you will forget about Mister Nobel (unless it be Mister *Noble*, of course...!). Hah.

You CANNOT see the pics? Can you see my icon? 'tis an extract. I will email pics!!!!!
