Writers meme

Writer you most wish wrote your genre or OTP: My OTP has veered over the months.
azewewish introduced me to Karl/Dom, so it's her Karl/Dom that I still love to read. However, what I would absolutely adore to read is
badgermonkey writing Bern/John. Which will probably not happen unless in some crossover or new-movie-universe, they both appear on t'screen. Or perhaps Derek Benfield could both get them to act in one of his plays.
Writer you did a dance of joy when you got feedback from:
I was once quite excited about getting fb from
cimorene111 but also conflicted because I have a problematic relationship to her. And I always feel a deep glow of contentment to get good fb from
eyebrowofdoom.
Writer you would read pretty much anything they wrote:
Not would; have: Read everything, more or less, by
badgermonkey and
eyebrowofdoom and
freyafloyd.
Writer you admire from afar/would love to get feedback from:
Well, this would have to be
cimorene111 once again because everyone else I admire quite from nearby, *g*.
Writer you most miss in fandom:
badgermonkey, though I have great hopes. Hah. And I also miss
quiseyes; yes, I know, she did that irritating huffy walk-out thing but I did love her Craig/Orli series. *looks around* Everyone else is still here, *heaves sigh of relief*.
Writer(s) who have most influenced your style in some way:
thejennabides first made me realise you can do things with words in fanfic. Then
azewewish made me realise it's good to think beyond words as well. Then
eyebrowofdoom made me realise the power of the unsaid. And
badgermonkey freed up my beta-dependency and my inner orc and made me realise that it's possible to write about anything at all.
Writer you most want to meet and chat fic with:
Of the ones I have not yet met:
eyebrowofdoom and
cupiscent.
Writer you most want to meet and chat smut with:
Well, here's an interesting thing, and I was talking about that with
ukcalico yesterday (to think that I've got Cal on tap!): chatting smut with people online is a very different proposition to seeing same people offline. They are in two different boxes in my brain. So I don't really chat smut offline. As such.
And finally, along the "bulletproof kink" (TM Te) lines, story that still turns you on no matter how many times you read it:
One story only? No can do.
And this is about 'turning me on', right, not about all the other aesthetic and swoony reasons I read fic for. Although if a story turns me on without the aesthetic swoon, I won't read it many times, *g*. (There are others I found hothothot but these are the ones I have actually re-read and still found same.) Here they are in the order I found them on my recs page:
ukcalico, Subversion
freyafloyd, From One To Another
cimorene111Cimorene, Delirium
eyebrowofdoom, Something to Pass the Time
thejennabides, Wrong to Love You
azewewish, Fun and Games
Pythoness (does she have an LJ?), A Diamond between Wood and Stone
And my own (why not -- but for modesty's sake, in small: Up Shit Creek, Different Tastes, Roller Coaster and A Perfect Day.
..
P.S. I just found the 'copy link to clipboard' mouse function. How pathetic is that? And it makes life so much easier!!!

*wanders off, lost, through the comments maze*
