Awwwwww.... ;-) I'm still only on page 106. Mph. Damn that thing called work. But hey, look, I can still be interested in boring!whoever-you-want at the same time! ;-)
Am intrigued by exactitude of time estimation. Do you have the book next to you and are giving yourself ten minutes? Will the store close in ten minutes? Will you turn into a pumpkin without eyes (nor eyebrows) in ten minutes?
I must take a moment to love your icon with unholy passion...
...
done.
If that book is ever next to me, one of us will end up on fire. (Came out of the first movie saying that was the worst script I'd ever heard, and my friend pipes up and says it's mostly lifted from the book... yikes.)
Should have gone to bed at the end of the ten minutes. This 9-5 workday business is untenable!
I must take a moment to thank you for your love-of-my-icon comment.

Did you know that one woman wrote to me saying that I had insulted the nice, sweet man that Orlando was by writing boring!Orli fic? What would she do if she saw my icon?!
I thought of it as boring!fic that happened to be about Orli, more of a joke about the boringness of real life cf the excitingness of fictitious life, than about Orli himself being boring. Though I suspected the choice of Orli for the lead was not entirely coincidental, hehe.
Ah well. Fangirl pieties are best politely tolerated in public, I'm beginning to suspect. Lynch mobs seem to be able to materialise at a moment's notice. Hee.
No, *snorts*, Orli as choice was not coincidental at all. Although it defies me now to reconstruct the steps that led to his creation. Just the old unfanoning-impulse, I guess, coupled with the inability to write anything that did not have The Curly in it. Although I did want it to be boring!Orli, not just boring!life -- which is why I had all that action happen to him, to see what he would do. I almost had him abducted by aliens.
