And today's match, my dear, was not "a fixture" -- it was a unique one-off event!

Am feeling a bit poohey, despite match fun. Saw bits of this horrible programme on paedophiles last night and it's turned me off things. Just a reminder how horribly wrong and sick the sex drive can go. I'm also not sure about the ethics of showing some of the images that they showed. It was really haunting. You do well to be a TV-luddite. In slash the guys are mostly sweet as pie to each other but am turned off sex fics for the moment. The programme was too, too horrendous. I won't go into detail but you can imagine. Ah well, I'll recover.
Re unique one-off events: I understand there is another next Wednesday. Yawn.
And yes, I'm very glad I wasn't subjected to that TV programme. I can quite understand how it would put you off sexfic. I hope the effect isn't too lasting: but yes, the human psyche can be a nasty place. Sick, as you say. Sick and perverted, in the true, negative sense of that word rather than the playful common usage...
