OT: I saw the abbreviation t' used in The Guardian yesterday, as in "down t'mine". I had a *moment*. I thought, what, have they been reading our txts?

A comment-and-run job here (am supposed to be packing, argh) to let you in on something I just read on World Crossing:

SB: I don't know if this qualifies as "films and culture" but I was at the Pirates of the Caribbean premiere the other night and Legolas, a vision of loveliness(shame about the hair and trousers) touched my arm to walk past. It remains unwashed. Unfortunately, Johnny was a no-show, so I'm not sure if I die a happy woman, though I was pretty happy.

J: SB - was the problem with the trousers the fact that he was wearing some?

SB: heh -- the trousers were awful. they were also the same ones he wore to his graham norton appearance

O: According to Popbitch (ie probably false) his trouser are very, very well filled.

Who is Popbitch? Is she (or he) a reliable source of information, akin to t'mysterious source divulging secrets re weapons of mass destruction to t'BBC? It is, after all, only *one* source.

And they *are* the same trousers! And even the same *shoes*!! They are K-Mart style trousers!

Now where were these trollops when Jack was walking past them? Eh? Eh?
