Damn. Now I want to se the Pillow Book again. Why on earth don't I have that on DVD? I've got VG, for Pete's sake. Obviously, I need to update my DVD collection... mph.
Ah, no. I would not call The Pillow Book boring. Granted, nothing much happens and its pace is sometimes so slow that I can see how it would be painfully so for a lot of people. But the story is fascinating, and the way it's filmed is quite mesmerizing. I personally loved it. But yeah, it's not exactly action packed. :-) I'd still recommend it.
o good, well, maybe i'll see it sometime then; i do like some of greenaway's films a lot (belly of an architect, killing by numbers) and others not so much.
