Oh, thank you! I've been waiting for this one. Missed the first few parts because I unsubscribed from LOTR_RPS, and just caught the tail end of it.

Now have read it all through from the start and, sigh. Love. Horrible, nasty, messy stuff.

I really like your characterisation of Orlando. He seems very human and believable. I like his neatness, and his color-coded diary, and his nervousness, and his sweetness.

And, Billy. Argh. Generous, lovely Billy. When Dom was leaving that answering machine message, I wanted to clap my hand over his mouth and make him stop.

I'm glad you ended the story where you did. Thinking about what's going to happen that afternoon, when Billy gets back ... no. Don't want to think about it. Too sad.

All this waffling is here to say: great story. You have thoroughly sucked me in once again. Thank you.

Oh yes, this story makes me too sad for Billy. Poor old Billy!

It makes me feel completely torn; it's so nice that Orli gets his man because, poor old thing, he's suffered so much from what he thought was unrequited love, but Dom...:sigh: I don't know whether to be pleased that he ends up with Orli or sad that he's not with Billy. Because I love some DomBilly.

But that's the beauty of this whole series *g* Making the reader happy and miserable at the same time...

well, yes, it is sad ... but it's so sweet. And being absolutely hooked on happy!Orlando, I am absolutely hooked on Perfect Day and its hillside trees and soap dishes and shampoo smells and attention to detail.

And I'm in dread of an angsty sequel: but oh, they look so in love, in a way that DomBilly didn't.

Or, as I put it on first reading:

That's all. ...
