I'm here but busy so not online. Much. We are having out loft converted. The bathroom is half done. Clearing our loft, I found loads of my old stories (written in the 1960s to 1980s). My father is coming on the weekend. We went to a wedding. I am up to the last chapter of the Iliad. I have noted emails but unable to reply: apologies! I am living and dreaming Desert Prince. I have devised continuation of Boring!Orli. I have had numerous idea for posts. I have forgotten to go to therapy again because I went to my boss instead to ask for a promotion. Not to forget, Mr P has been kept busy. As Owl dictates: "Backson." :-)

You certainly do sound like a busy bee! Were the old stories interesting to rediscover? I love finding old art.

I *loved* rediscovering them! It has quite transformed me. This is the subject of one of the posts I have been contemplating. It must wait for another day.

Ah, there you are! Was on the verge of sending out search party. Glad you're ok.

Packing for the big move, I found some stories I wrote when I was about eleven. They were mostly rubbish, but then I was only eleven. There was quite a good one though about an office worker who's murdered by his boss and then comes back after death to get his ghostly revenge.

I have stories going back to when I was five! You have to judge these early stories using different yardsticks, I think. My childlike stories are okay, some not so interesting for me now, as adult. My teenie ones are most embarrassing, I cringe at their overblown ignorance combined with 'tude. By the time I get to about age 20, I start to recognise the sort of fics I still write in them, I see glimpses.

But eleven! Never throw it out!!
