Following on from my previous nominations, here are some more fic nominations:

Btw, I don't concur with all of the Starless Night Awards organisers' categories. Some of them seem mighty counter-intuitive, and others ridiculously under-represented (9 rubrics for various Fellowship permutations, though the Nine do not include JRD for whatever perfidious reason vs. only 2 rubrics for other pairings is only the start of it...) But having tried to match my favourites to their rubrics, I will just post them here.

And then go away to think about what the rubrics should *really* be.

Glam and love. Oh, it makes me shiver inside just thinking about it. And so funny, too!

I keep coming back to this one. It's just got unbeatable control of voice. And so delicious!

Delicious dialogue, lovely build-up.

Not on her website, inexplicably. It's a locked post, alas, but Friend her and she'll Friend you back so that you can read this hugely enjoyable resistrix fic. (What else would I pick, eh? I hate this pairing. But I love this story.)

Actually, I would nominate azewewish and lotrjunkie, Chapter 24 of "Captivated", part of the "Claimed" series" (because of its celebration of non-jealous group sex), but as it's not really a freestanding fic, I will opt for similar non-jealousy in the equally not entirely freestanding:

Best non-Fellowship pairing (dumb category!)

God, I adore this fic. It's my runner-up for Best Short Story as well.

See, I think we should. But it's a shit load of work and there'd be tonnes of disagreement what the categories should be. I think the Starless people had too many categories. But you can see how many fics I ended up nominating, and that's not even all of them, so what to do?
