My last batch of fic nominations, following on from my previous batch.

God, I'm sure now that I'v forgotten some vital favourite fic.

Pairings (contd)
Best Other Pairings Well, this was the dumbest catch-all category so I'm going to stuff quite a few fics in here.

[livejournal.com profile] azewewish, Realization
Because it celebrates the truly rare and that is what I love about Lotrips: the sheer variety and scope.

[livejournal.com profile] eyebrowofdoom, Flint
Oh, the pairing (Billyviggo), and oh, the terse prose and consistent pov.

[livejournal.com profile] zarah5Dance
It's Karli, it's a lovely atmosphere and it's gorgeously written.

[livejournal.com profile] badgermonkey, Overtime
It's WETA, it's the Duck, and a hoot to boot.

Character
Most In Love Couple
[livejournal.com profile] azewewish, Domestic Bliss
It's her OTP and it shows. Nobody does domestic bliss better.

Best Non-Romantic Relationship
[livejournal.com profile] beccaming, Good Talking
Breezy pace. Great dialogue. Wonderful psychology.

Best Bad Guy
I wasgoing to say Karl in Brenda's Fun & Games (see best series nomination) but then it immediately occurred to me that Karl was de-badded in Into the Void. And then I couldn't think of a single other bad guy, except in bad!fic. Am I going insane? Or is this fandom bad-resistant? Am I missing a good Badguy!fic? I can only think of cruel men, thoughtless men, fucked up men and into-bondage men, but no one really bad.

The Sniffles Award

One of the very few fics that actually brought tears rolling down my cheeks.

The Lacy Knickers Award (for best cross-dressing)
Oh, look, it's <lj site="livejournal.com" user="badgermonkey"> again with Under Sixteen Girls

There were quite a few more categories but I couldn't find the fic I wanted or I couldn't think of one. And anyway, there should have been the following categories as well:

- Best wank fic
- Best really, really rare pairing
- Best fem
- Best het
- Best slashified het
- Best crossover
- Best experimental style
- Best first-person pov story
- Best dual pov story
- Best use of flashback
- Best surprise pairing (not divulged in Header)
- Best dialogue

But that would be proliferating categories again and that's really too much.

Ack. *falls down in exhausted heap after all that link-chasing-up*

Thank you.

Just, um, for everything. But mostly for asking questions & forcing me to think.

I discovered that your name came up a disturbing number of times. I could have nominated you even more often but I curbed myself. *g*

Yeah, but what else is new? *g*

I was saying to [livejournal.com profile] thejennabides the other day that for me, you and her are at opposite ends of a writing spectrum. Jenn is all about words, images and the unsaid, and you are all about explaining, plot and character. Difficult to say: both makes me swoon in different ways. I need both ends. [livejournal.com profile] badgermonkey is somewhere in the breezy middle. I need her for dialogue and carefree-ness.

I nominated at least 30 authors a few weeks ago over a span of three days. And only a few of those authors have showed up on the nomination list so far. *frowns* But the silver lining is that I *think* they're all getting their nomination e-mails now.

*also nominated 'And the Little One Said...' for best multiple pairing, memorable moment, funniest moment, fitting title, and possible some others that I can't remember now*

Oh,I hope they show up soon! [livejournal.com profile] cupiscent also said that some of her nominations hadn't shown up. Hm.
