badgermonkey who is living proof that you can be clever and hi-heeled all at the same time (something which I have somehow been discounting these past few decades).
Now I need to learn to walk the walk. Because the balance is all different! I feel like Billy in drag.
P.S. The bootlets are beige. I have no beige clothes. I need to buy a wardrobe now. All this stems from being-back-at-work nervosity. As I was trying on the boots, I kept thinking: 'This'll make me look tall and impressive at the front of class.' Not if I topple over balanceless, of course...
