LJ won't let me post Desert Prince. Testing, testing.

ETA: Bugger this. I've broken it up into several shorter parts: still won't post. Does anyone know why LJ will allow me to post these rantings but not the actual fic?

Will try again later. In the meantime, will post to the lists.

My bet is that somewhere in it you have some accent it doesn't like or is reading as code. Have you tried saving it as plain text (instead of Word, WP, html or whatever else) and seeing if you can paste that? I know that some non-English symbols make LJ freak.

Aha! Yes, this has happened ot me before. But there is no accent here. I will try the simpletext ploy, though. Can't hurt.
