I am still unable to email or post or comment more than 200 words at a go.

So still no Desert Prince! And even no extended comments! Or anything!

I will have to learn to be taciturn.

Hrm. Have you emailed or contacted livejournal about this? This is most uncool.

It goes beyond LiveJournal. My yahoo email is doing it to me as well. I can't send emails longer than around 200 words.

Huh. Freaky. I presume the problems are all on one computer? All on one version of one browser? You could try reinstalling your browser, if the very idea doesn't make you want to die.

It makes me want to die.

But the prospect of receiving no feedback for the remainder of my natural life makes me want to die even more.

I can't send attachments either, I've discovered!!

Attach the story to an e-mail and send it to yourself, then update at a public terminal! Would that work?

Because, like, it's really hard to shower you with art and lurve and praises when I don't have my new crack. You know?

It sounds like a memory problem to me, like something is using your RAM and not detaching from it when you close programs.

Could you have accidentally downloaded some spyware that runs in the background & is eating up your RAM every time you're on?

Have you downloaded any new programs recently that could have messed with your registry?

And finally - how long has it been since you have defragged? Our secretary's PC was acting weird and not letting her do much of anything - and once she ran a defrag, things went back to normal.

just some suggestions - good luck.

What's a defrag? And does it work for macs as well?

Thank you!

oh...um, I have no idea. I've never used a Mac.

*ponders*

Actually, now that I'm thinking about it, defrag mainly helps speed, not RAM issues.
