Internet problems - try this?

Hi, I wondered if you'd tried asking your cable co to re-route you through a proxy server temporarily - if you speak to their help desk they can tell you the IP address to use and how to set it up (basically, go into Tools, Internet options, connections, LAN settings, and then type in the address they give you). I've found that this cures a lot of site access and other odd problems with NTL UK, maybe it would work for you...
