Oh good! Now it will actually be fanfic for you! I'm amazed it got to you so fast. A letter to my mother 300 miles away usually takes longer! Have fun!
My husband thought it was all right. He would have preferred more gore, I think, and is bored by any war movie that's not about infantry, but I think he was reasonably entertained. And he's had to watch it at least three times! It's really only girly in the sense that there is a lot of eye candy- there's hardly any romance at all! You'll see why I had to correct that situation!
I've just seen half of it with my boys! They didn't think there was enough action but the younger one thought it was quite scary and proceeded to make an accurate drawing of the Flying Fortress on an A4 sheet.
I just ogled at Danny. I hadn't realised he was so Pretty!!
And there's something going on between the guy who sings "Dannyboy" (Clay?) and Danny as well, for sure. Hah! So much potential!
And now I know where your title comes from, too!!! *off to re-read*

yay! As far as I'm concerned, the first half is the best anyway, as far as the pretty is concerned - not all grimy and bloodied up yet.
Ooh, your youngest is artistic! Before long, you'll have him illustrating your stories. *g*

Well, yes he is. Very Pretty indeed. And red hair! Mmmmm.

Oh, yes Clay and Danny. That was the pairing that jumped out at me at first. But then the Rascal-bunny bit me. But I would be very happy if someone else wrote them. *hinthint* I think there's plenty of slash potential in this movie. I don't know why no one had written any before.
Wheee!

Date: 2003-10-08 02:19 pm (UTC)Well, there is that moment during the Dannyboy song when Rascal puts his head on Danny's shoulder... That is nice.
Well, Clay/Danny. Hm. Do I owe you a birthday fic??
