Hi all.

Had the weekend from heaven.

*sigh*

Saw old friend. Reminisced. Lauged till tears came down my face.

T'h is so slashy, and he doesn't even know it. All of his friends are. And they're my friends, too.

And I'm still in love with Transfigurations.

Oooo, Transfigurations, yessssssssssss! I read it because you recced it (even though we don't always have the same tastes, but I do know you like quality as much as I do, so... lol), and damn, but it's brilliant.

Now, have you read Contrition? It's the most disturbingly amazing fic ever. Be warned if you haven't read it, though, it IS disturbing, and not in a porny way. But it IS brilliant, though.

And I'm glad you had a good weekend. Yay!

Is Contrition the other HP fic you read?? I'm glad you liked Transfigurations. I am completely gaga over it. I can't print it out, it's too long, so I have printed out my favourite bits and keep re-reading them and re-spooling scenes in my head. God, that is a good fic in about 125 ways. Did you fb the author and has she written back? I sent her a mile-long email but haven't heard back. Yet.

I have read it now. It *is* disturbing. Still not quite sure what to make of it or even what to feedback.

I too love to laug.

Glad you liked Transfig (as all the cool kids call it). I thought it was fantastic, although it took me a while to get into it.

It took me a while and I only ploughed on because of the reccage I'd gotten but as soon as Malfoy appears on the scene I had that tingling sense that I was onto a winner. That author just never puts a word wrong. I didn't know the pairing and when Malfoy appeared, I *knew*, and I thought a writer who can do that is a very good writer, and by page 100 I didn't even have such rational thoughts any longer.

I finally got around to reading Transfigurations! All I can say is WOW! I've pretty much avoided the whole Harry Potter fandom up to this point because the underage thing and the student/teacher thing sort of squick me a bit. But now, I want to read every good bit of it I can. The problem being of course all the crap I'd have to wade through to find some as good as this.

So long story short, thanks for rec'ing this!

I've now read it for the second time, and my favourite bits for about the 8th time. Unfortunately, we are *spoiled*. I am told by those in the know (weirdo HP fans) this is it, this is the pinnacle, there is nothing else as good. The fics I was sent as being "almost as good" or even "better" were crap (to me).

I am no HP fan. I am just a Transfigurations fan. And yes, the underage thing: squicketypoo. But then they age 'em up, and that's good.

Did you fb her? I did but she never replied!!

No, I didn't feedback, but I need to. Thanks for the reminder. I don't do that nearly enough.
