In other news, I am making slow but sure headway on the bloody Viggo-fic. I like about half of what I've written and not the other half, and I've written about two-thirds. So, what with scrapping the half I don't like and writing the remaining third ... um, I can't do maths but that's where I'm at.

Also, to help me, have dreaded visual aids on my desktop so am actually staring Viggo in the eye for most of the day! He's all right, actually (in the fic, that is); he's telling me all right things. Just a bit deluded.

But 19%... mwuahah. What I want to know is what elicits 100 %; then I'll go and change my name by deed poll.

17 1/2 hours to go till kick-off. I had withdrawal symptoms last night and actually watched the 1970 Brazil vs. England match, shown on BBC1. Lady M. found this 'sad'! I was transported into history -- a dizzying sensation. V., v. strange. The past is a parallel universe.

rel hell

Sweetie-pies, rel hell horror is descending on me tomorrow (just after the GAME) and I may not be on-line much, if at all, until Tuesday. Got a sister coming, got a mother coming (ack), got a Holy Communion to organise (and I myself am not even baptised -- how did this happen? I have raised a cuckoo.).

So, it's not the final curtain and all that. I know you'll hardly be able to survive the weekend without me (bwuahha) but you must all be strong now and try your best.

But while I'm gone: hands off Alan Hansen.
