Are you tired of grown men behaving like teenagers? Do you like yourLotR-men hot, manly and mature? Do you find yourself drooling overobscure Orc-actors and geeky special-effects guys? And are you happywith a conspicuous absence of the so-called pretty?

It's called "Manly Men and Horny Orcs."
This is a list devoted to RPS, slash, fanfic and discussion of LotR menover 30, both cast and crew. Cut-off point is vintage 1970 or earlier (i.e. age 30 and older during filming in NZ). Anyone younger than thatcannot appear as a main character in a story; sorry: no Orlando and nohobbits (except for the stunt doubles, of course). Honorary 'manly men':any and all Orc-actors. Partly because I love them, partly because nothing is less pretty than an Orc, and partly because I don't knowmost of their ages...
Fics, pics and droolage, any rating, slash/het/gen, cross-overs (withother manly men): all are welcome, especially if it broadens ourhorizons beyond the mainstream men!
