"Forsooth," exclaimed Puddleglum. "What have we here? How did you come to be in my tent? You are..." In his excitement, he allowed his pipe to go out and coughed. "You are the legendary Mr Tumnus, come to visit my humble abode from a time long past! Well, you'll catch your second death of cold here, I shouldn't wonder, what with the marshland being so damp at this time of year and only one bedroll to keep the frost away."

Mr Tumnus, with a twinkle in his eye and a gleam to his horns, patted the Marshwiggle on his skinny knee. "Don't worry about that, my good sir," he smiled, "I'm sure we can both fit into the bedroll. You're a slim fellow, after all, and the fur on my thighs is warm enough to keep the both of us snug."

"Your... What?" said Puddleglum.

It turned out that it wasn't only the fur that kept them both happy and hot.
