The sky is a uniform matt white, impenetrable. Snowflakes trundle down quite fast, in vague diagonals, about 10 degrees off the vertical. One minute ago, they were large, like fluttery paws, now they are fast and bullet-shaped. They are barely visible as dark streaks against the bright white sky. The sky, I should say, is bright but dirty.

Some of the snowflakes fall to the left of the vertical, some to the right, so they form a criss-crossing pattern. But the wind shifts every few seconds, and now, for instance, they are nearly all leaning right, in a dense dotty matrix. Now they are more dispersed, some big, some little, the little ones more like rain.

I don't know what the weather feels like today. I dursn't go out, I've got a headcold.
