out of t'loop

I don't feel 'complete', as Kajol says in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, without my daily dose of LiveJournal but at the moment, real life is dissipating my online focus. I feel a bit lost without it but there may be light on the horizon. Yesterday, I had a meeting with boss-type person and it seems (you can never be sure at my institution) that she thinks I will still be employed there in February next year. So that's about 9 months longer than I'd expected! Anyway, my salary survives.

I've also had a mighty kick in terms of my faith in football. More of that anon; I still feel quite raw about it. I am so disaffected that I removed Kaká, C. Ronaldo and José Mourinho from my desktop pictures. I almost tore off all my football stars from the laundry walls. Back to my one and only: Brad.

Suffice it to say: when t'choice is football or son, there really isn't a choice.

I love LJ

LJ is the coolest thing evah. Here is a new thing: buy a virtual gift and the proceeds will go to a wonderful charity. New charity and new theme every month!

I also love women. Women and LJ. Possibly, in my brain, these two things are one and the same. :-)
