Happy Nikolaus!
Dec. 6th, 2009 11:51 pmFor those of you who celebrate St Nicolas's Day: have a very happy one! And seeing as I'm posting this so very late, I may also rephrase for those in my own or earlier timezones: I hope you had a very happy one!
Nikolaus came for the children this year but strangely, not for the adults. He never comes for us. Still, we stuffed ourselves with Stollen, cheese cake, Marzipankartoffeln, Zimtsternen and Lebkuchen nevertheless. A Nikolausteller (St Nicolas's plate) does smell nice, laden with clementines, baked goodies and pine branches.
