flistsib to touch (friday mini-moot)

For the first time in too much evah, I got together with a real live person off the interwebs, yay. It was viva_gloria who, it turns out, has bizarrely lived 3 mins walk away from the house I lived in until November for 2-something years. It was sunny, and it was scrumptious and simply totally fab! And kind of a lot about Inception.

Also, yesterday I managed to wrest Philip Hensher's new novel, King of the Badgers, out of the hands of a recalcitrant Waterstone's sales assistant ("this doesn't go on sale until 31 March") and now I'm reading it and am all hyperventilatey and fangirly. I'm only on page 37 but am already totally loving it so much! (The author is also a rl trufax friend of ours so it's all double-yum.)
