Eep! I just booked tickets via the internet. This always makes me very nervous, for some reason. But we - the kiddies and I - are off to see the sister next weekend. Whee!

Maybe we'll even get to do some Laternelaufen to compensate for missing Hallowe'en??

I doubt it's even possible to miss Hallowe'en here in Germany nowadays. I bet there're quite a lot Hallowe'en parties around and you'll probably just have to switch on the TV to get your dose of Halloween LOL

When friends from NZ came over here when I was a 'lil kid and wanted to do a Hallowe'en party, everybody was like 'What the f*** is Hallowe'en?' But now it's become pretty much common over here, too. Although I dunno how popular this 'trick or treat' thing is around here. Could be that some kids do that, too.
