badgermonkey. It's a locked post but if you friend her, she'll friend you back. It is a gorgeously lovely (and even slashy!) origfic. And it's Demelza at her best, all breezy and spot-on dialogue and fantastic timing.
First Date byazewewish. An all-dialogue Brenda original, and another wonderful origfic! (I feel so moved by all this origging!) Atmospheric, ambiguous, and what a way to characterise with no description whatsoever. All show, all do, no tell.
Live Specimens byviva_gloria. A historic fanfic that's almost orig. Intriguing characters, intriguing premise, and a hint of antipodean theme! Wonderful period atmo.
I got some wonderful pics as well and some lovely, lovely real packages with wrapping and all, and a lot of nice congrats: thank you, everyone!!

They're *so* fantasy-ficcish (why do half the fanficers think that origfic equals stories about Lady Dalthaniel gazing swoony-eyed across the Thornothielthion mountains from her castle-cum-spaceship while communing telepathically with Prurion Lord of the Woods??).
