Thank you, thank you, blithesea!!! I love all of it!! The edibles (oh Kätzchen), the marzipan (I adore marzipan!), and the film! Our VCR is buggered up but I watched The Castle anyway (Eric Bana!) and I love it! I think it may spur me into buying a new VCR. Those accents, those people, that understated humour (Bonniedoon!!!!). But such a warm heart at the core of it all.

Wheeeeee, I'm so glad you liked it! Now you have enough Kätzchen to last you through the new year, I hope. And The Castle! I love that movie so much, but I've watched it with people who were rather unimpressed by it (mostly Germans though), so I wasn't absolutely sure if you'd enjoy it. And Eric Bana! It wasn't until I saw the Troy pics of him that I realized he was starring in the Castle, lol.

Maybe you could write a ficlet for my birthday? It's on January 7.
