*looks at Bollywood pretties* *gulps* *swoons*

You said Malarkey! *sniggers* Did you know he's one half of my Band of Brothers OTP? Only because he's in the only story I've ever completed, but still.

Good luck with the parents. Hope to see you relatively unscathed on the other side! *hugs*

1. Oh, I'm jealous. People keep telling me about the weather installation and how good it is.

2. Basically, they post people's names and other people vote for them in the comments, and the one who doesn't win gets chucked off the list until there's one person left and they win. (btw, it looks like our matches are on in the same round - you're up against [livejournal.com profile] megolas and I'm fighting [livejournal.com profile] lafisher). Yes, I worked it out. What? I suffer from insomnia. Look - this is exactly what happened to me with Big Brother. I tried to ignore it, really I did.

3. Best of luck and wishes and things.

4. I know, and some good stuff, too.

5. Still haven't found that Bollywood channel.

2. I'm not on that thing!!! Am I? I never signed up! I don't want to fight [livejournal.com profile] megolas!

4. Liek, wot? Rec to help me hack my way through the fic thicket!

5. Abandon search. Go the DVD blockbuster route.

I don't get it. I did not sign up. How can I delete myself? I hate being signed up for things without my consent.

i don't think you can, sweetie. it's like the times compiling a list of best books of the century or something, and people voting on it, and whoever wins, wins. the most you can do, if you win, is to refuse the prize which will probably be some graphic to put into your bio declaring you 'no. 1 bnf' or something. i'm sure if you write the the organisers to complain, it will be lauded about as typical bnf-ish behaviour, and you know wanky people will deliberately vote for you just because. anyway, it just shows that people have noticed you and that you're popular. you might as well just sit back and laugh.

*squishy hugs*

I think it's a bunch of wankers being wanky, as only wankers know how. Probably best to ignore it, like what I'm not.

You can snicker, but I always think sniggering's more effective.

2. Nobody did, they didn't bother asking anyone's permission. It seems to be an excuse for people to bitch anonymously about other people in public, so far. Silly. Very silly. Although am rather tickled by the idea that I'm a BNF. *cracks up laughing for the gazillionth time*

4. I'll have a rootle round and try and remember what I liked.

5. But that would mean leaving the house! *aghast*

What does BNF stand for, btw?

Leave the house! See the weather thing at Tate Modern! Go with your arty housemates and rediscover your inner arty self!

It's really good. And you get to walk across the Millennium Bridge which I hadn't done before. It's very fast: tube to St Paul's, 10 min walk across the river and you're there with grand views of London to boot. Plus: it's free!

BNF stands for Big Name Fan.

You're right, I should leave the house, and I will too! One day. I want to see the weather thing, and I'd quite like to discover my inner artist now I've given it a good long rest. Last time I went to Tate Modern it was a weird thing with lifts or something, by someone whose name I've forgotten. I went across the Millennium Bridge too.
