Thank you so much for this comment. It was really salutary. You know what I did as soon as I read it? I actually switched off the computer because I realised I was typing DP because I didn't want to think about my impending visit to my parents and that yes, my book is more important.
i'm always afraid of doing this sort of thing - some people have histrionics if given advice which is not grovelling 'you're febbulous so keep doing what you're doing.' i'm glad you reacted well.
well, we all need some escapism, so writing 'dp' instead of thinking of your parents is a good thing, actually. it's not likely that you can work on your book, anyway.
You know, part of me is driven to write DP just so I'll be able to use the icon made from your wonderful graphic. I have a personal rule: I can only use that icon for DP installments. And I'm desperate to use it!
I realise you're probably not checking stuff at the moment, so I'm leaving this link here for you to find upon your return, should you not have seen it already. It's a John Noble interview from theonering.net.
Hi, undonne here. You said not to reply there and I didn't see an email address for you, so thought I'd drop in here. Nope, I'm not that undone. After I set up my LJ I noticed that there was someone with 'undone' - but mine refers to Johne Donne among other things. I also use "flick" at HASA if you are there.
And, yeah, N/B slash. Go to it! ;) Love to read it.
