happy birthday, mayhem!
Jan. 7th, 2004 11:10 pmHappy birthday, dear
May you have a wonderful year, and may your dreams be filled with lusty animations!
I know I promised you a fic but I've only just got back from Holland so there's no fic (alas) but I have not forgotten!
(How could I, buried as I am under a Kaetzchenstapel?) ;-)
Btw, t'h *adores* The Castle! And the young son asked, "Mama, can we have a pool room?"

How was Holland? Do they have Kätzchen there, too? I'm thrilled to hear that The Castle is providing proper S.-B. family entertainment. Did you notice that the australians rated it 15+? I was quite amazed by it.
And who doesn't want a pool room?

Holland is full of Lakritz but not of Kätzchen! They have a sort of sweet, soft Lakritz but it's just not the same.
Kartoffelpuffer! Oh, I haven't had those for years!!!! With Apfelmus!

I would love to read about Mark Ferguson (he played Gil-Galad, to be seen for about two minutes total in the Fellowship). I met him at the Ringcon, and he was brilliant and funny and sweet and captivating, not to mention very tall. And he has a lovely, lovely, deep voice.
I have some fodder for you, if you like.
