Happy birthday, dear [livejournal.com profile] blithesea!!

May you have a wonderful year, and may your dreams be filled with lusty animations!

I know I promised you a fic but I've only just got back from Holland so there's no fic (alas) but I have not forgotten!

(How could I, buried as I am under a Kaetzchenstapel?) ;-)

Btw, t'h *adores* The Castle! And the young son asked, "Mama, can we have a pool room?"

Thank you! :-D

I had a very pleasant day. I had Kartoffelpuffer for lunch, with applesauce and all!

How was Holland? Do they have Kätzchen there, too? I'm thrilled to hear that The Castle is providing proper S.-B. family entertainment. Did you notice that the australians rated it 15+? I was quite amazed by it.

And who doesn't want a pool room?

What's S+B?
Rated 15: I know. *shakes head*

Holland is full of Lakritz but not of Kätzchen! They have a sort of sweet, soft Lakritz but it's just not the same.

Kartoffelpuffer! Oh, I haven't had those for years!!!! With Apfelmus!

lol, serves me right for being acromynic. I meant Sackville-Baggins family entertainment.

Any pairing preferences??

That is a hard one to decide. For even though I tend towards enjoying certain pairings more than others (still sticking to OrliBean like glue), you have more than once shown me that this is rather irrelevant, really. I never thought I'd be a Billy/Karl fan until Up Shit Creek, and I'd made a wide berth around Viggo/Orlando, then I read The Other Trailer. And I'd never given David Wenham a true fannish thought until I read Past Imperfect. Or Harry Sinclair and Andy Serkis?

Even ruling out certain people might maybe make me miss out on a breathcatching story, so I don't really want to do that, either.

I would love to read about Mark Ferguson (he played Gil-Galad, to be seen for about two minutes total in the Fellowship). I met him at the Ringcon, and he was brilliant and funny and sweet and captivating, not to mention very tall. And he has a lovely, lovely, deep voice.

I have some fodder for you, if you like.
