You probably won't even see this because you're from a parallel Bollywood-LJ-verse but I just want to make this a public gratitude post because I am so squeeworthily and giddily happy about the soundtrack CD! It arrived today, and already, er, had our elderly neighbour knock on the door and politely request us to turn 'the very loud music with the bass beat' down (he's never done that before!).

I guess we were hopping around rather maniacally to a rather volume-turned-up CD... (me and the little boys, that is).

Dil se re! Satrangi re! Saajanji Ghar Aaye!

*sighs happily*

P.S. And all you other flisters: be converted already. I feel so sad not having anyone to co-obsess.

The music is trickier than the DVDs. You can, apparently, download it (but I don't know how to do that) or buy it via particular websites (will find link, if interested). I own a commercial compilation CD with 1-2 songs from about 10 movies.

I can tape this one for you and send!! (Nothing fancy, just a cassette.)

Now the DVDs which give you PICTURES with the songs: you can get them via this site, apparently. But so far I've been able to get everything from my local HMV or Blockbuster.

I've already checked Blockbuster and other bigger DVD rental places and they don't seem to have anything. See, I've been trying! If you'd like to make me a cassette tape sometime, that would be wonderful. I'd love you forever if I didn't already!

:-)!!! I'm so glad you are enjoying it! That is funny you had a neighbor complain lol. That bass does get loud doesn't it? But how can you not blare the bass on Chaiyya Chaiyya? :-D

Isn't that ridiculous? We've lived in this house for over six years and this is the first time anyone's complained! I did feel a bit sheepish. :-)
