Hi! I'm back -- sort of. Back for a while, anyway. The decorators have come and gone. But the floorlayers come next week! Who knows what hideous water damage they may discover in our house (besides the hideous water damage discovered by the decorators)?? And then I may finally be moving into my new study (but I ain't holdin' my breath -- I was supposed to be doing this at Christmas -- I guess those builders did not mean 2003 when they said 'it'll be ready by Christmas'...)

Anyhow, I've plugged myself in, hunched over the children's desk once again. We shall see, we shall see!

I also lost an email today so no narratological fanfic posting until Wednesday as the analysis is now sitting on t'reference library's computer. Bugger pooh.

A lot of interesting rl things have happened but here's the one most likely to enchant LJ Friends (or not): I had a dream about Brad Pitt.

He was wearing a ribbed, black polo-neck jumper (*falls over just with the memory of it*) and he was very short, as in shorter than me. He was also very erotic and kept wanting to embrace me. It were great!!!! Brad lusting after me in his sex-top!

Note: I had this dream the night before t'h returned from the US. Heh, after 25 years our relationship still appears to be having some thunders on its rock... *g*

I'll be thinking of this dream when I see Troy. Now I must try and dream the sequel: where Brad gets to take off the sex-top.

What else does this dream portend? Gentle nudges away from Lotrips?? I'm not even sure I can slash Brad (except that I already have -- except it wasn't, really...)

Why, little Patroklos of course, or rather, the child (or at least he looks too young to be there) who plays him- Garrett Hedlund. The only pic I've seen so far is on [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]'s lj. I have plans for those two. *rubs hands together evilly*

And ewwww, Brad Pitt? Another one where our tastes diverge. I just never could lust after him in the slightest. I can see he's good looking, sure, and he's a very decent actor, but there's no spark coming off of him, at least not when I'm the one looking, lol.


And anyway, my sex dreams are few and far between and never feature celebrities, damnit. I can chant myself to dream going domdomdomdomdomdomdomdom and still dream about shopping at the local supermarket with my grandmother. *sigh*

And Brad: well, here's the thing. I, too, can see him as objectively handsome and star material and good actor and all that but I have not seen what you call the 'spark'. Hence his deadpan characterisation in my Malta fic -- he's just a bit of a bore and so unslashable. But what can I do against dream invasion??! Ever since he wooed me with his black roller neck, I have had quite warm fuzzy feelings towards Mr Pitt!

Actually, I think he was t'h in disguise. Except t'h is not short. It was a very good disguise...
